Camp America
A visual handbook for Camp America participants who are about to have the ‘best summer ever’. The designs are inspired by the places I visited the summer of 2017 when I was placed at a Girl Scout Camp as a general counsellor and high ropes instructor. The angular lines came from Miami’s bright and bold pedestrian crossings and the canoes and thousands of trees at Camp Meriwether inspired abstract triangles. The magnificent Niagara Falls inspired the blue waves and the vertical oblongs came from the towering architecture of New York City. In addition to the handbook printed on eco- friendly recycled stock there is a digital version, postcards and posters.
